Lettuce, ice plant -The crystalline iceplant is a very rare lettuce indeed! The slightly salty tasting leaves appear to be coated in ice crystals, although the plant originally stems from South Africa and thus prefers dry and sunny spots. Ice plant is fairly easy to 
cultivate.
